Welcome to Bianca's AuPairs (BAP)

We are excited to be giving you the basic information on the programs that we offer. The owner and managing director Bianca Huijs brought the word “au pair” to South Africa in 1990 and with over 2 decades of experience you are in the safest hands possible.

We currently offer 3 host countries - namely Holland, USA, Belgium. On 21 July 2010 we opened our own BAP office in Holland - this new office now makes us the agency with the largest number of aupair matches in The Netherlands. In addition to our regular host countries we also have partners in other countries like Germany / England / France / Italy / Switzerland / Austria / Australia / Spain and other but these countries all have their own very specific visa and other requirement (language skills) etc.

Most important before applying is to remember is that this is NOT A JOB but you are going to be part of an international cultural exchange program (25.000 participants worldwide per year). You will be a new addition to the host family overseas - share your South African culture, have the opportunity to find out what life in your host country is really like.

BAP AU PAIRS will be a member of the South African Au Pair Regulatory Association (SAAPRA), which will be launching during 2012.

We have au pair parties / gatherings in our Cape Town office so you can make new friends and meet girls who, like yourself, will be travelling overseas for the first time. You will also be able to participate in a one day training course which is FREE. We also have a very exciting group on facebook where you can chat to girls that are already overseas – they are always keen to share their experiences with you!
